Guidelines for Direct Mail Postcard Design

Simply follow the steps detailed on this page to place your order. We'll design your card from the ground up according to your specifications-and our expertise in the industry!

1. Style

Choose a size, and indicate vertical or horizontal format. Each style includes 1 color photo on the front side and black text on the back side. (see prices for available styles.)

2. Quantity

Check quantity to be printed. It is more economical to order additional postcards with initial order.

3. Message

Clearly write or type the message for the back side of the postcard -- we will design. Get some ideas here »

4. Rough Sketch

Include a rough sketch, if you have specific ideas, for us to use as a guideline.

5. Logo/Artwork

Enclose your logo art. Artwork must be emailed in vector format (PDF, EPS, AI) to cheepcheep@huntermcmain.com.

6. Photo

Enclose a high-resolution digital file or photo.

Your photo will be sized proportionately to the postcard style you select. If it is necessary to crop your photo to fit format, please indicate image area to be reproduced. All photos will be trimmed 1/16th due to the printing process.

7. Proof Read

You will receive an emailed proof. Please read it carefully. Send back any corrections immediately. We will email a final corrected proof for your approval. Please sign, date and approve and get back to us.

8. Payment

All orders must include a 50% deposit. Balance due with final approval prior to printing - including delivery and sales tax, if applicable. No cancellation after order is confirmed.
